On March 12, 2020 the lessons of the “Preserve Nature and It Will Save Us” program was resumed. This time the program’s participants are the 6th grade students of № 2 school named after Smbat Shahazizi (Ashtarak, Aragatsotn Province).

The methodology and themes of the project were developed and selected as a result of a joint collaboration between “Eurasia” CPO and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia. Selected topics that are directly related to current environmental issues.

The program has a cognitive- educational character, and is implemented in № 2 school named after Smbat Shahazizi.

The main goal of the project is to increase the role and importance of environmental education and upbringing among schoolchildren in Armenia, as well as to promote the development of ecological culture and the formation of ecological values.

The program includes the knowledge, abilities, skills, and value orientations needed to establish a systematic environmental outlook for students.
