On May 22, the 6th grade students of № 1 school of Nerses Ashtaraketsi (Ashtarak, Aragatsotn Province) visited Byurakan Observatory, by which “Let’s save the Nature and It will save us” project came to its completion( the project was developed by “Eurasia” CPO and the Ministry of Science and Education and of the Republic of Armenia).At the end of the visit the participants were awarded certificates.
The program was intended to be cognitive- educational character, and implemented in Nerses Ashtaraketsi № 1 school (Ashtarak, Aragatsotn Province, RA ) from April 10 to May 22, 2019 as an additional education. The main objective of the project was to strengthen the role and importance of environmental education in Armenia, as well as to promote the development of ecological culture and the formation of ecological values among students.
Let’s note that the awareness raising actions about global environmental issues are very important for Armenian schoolchildren. “Eurasia” CPO’s developed project will have continuous nature and will involve new regions and schools.
