International Ecological Conference entitled “Strategic need and obtaining organic and petroleum products from hydrocarbon and agricultural waste” was held on October 22-24, 2018. The Ecological Conference was dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Armenian National Polytechnic University. The organizers of the conference were National Engineering University of Armenia, “Eurasia” CPO, Engineering Academy of Armenia.

The purpose of the conferences is to get people’s attention to current environmental issues such as obtaining organic and petroleum products from hydrocarbon and agricultural wastes, the principles and capabilities of using such methods in industry, the solution of proposed environmental technologies, possible approaches to green technologies, application possibilities.

The Opening Ceremony was attended by the Rector of National Engineering University of Armenia Mr. Marukhyan, Vice-rectors Baghdasaryan, A. Grigoryan, President of “Eurasia” charitable public organization N. Torosyan, scientists and researchers from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.

 The topic of the conference is important for Armenia as there are energy-fuel problems in our country that seriously worry the society.

Topics discussed during the conference will be useful for future chemists, engineers, engineers, environmental engineers and other professionals. The conference expressed the confidence about the development of scientific and technical researches.

In addition, Eurasia CPO has been the organizer and initiator of international environmental conferences since 2011.
