On April 21-22, 2022 the project “Strengthening local self-governmental leadership towards participatory governance in rural regions of RA” was launched.

The project opening event was attended by Ms. Anna Radecka (representative of Solidarity Fund PL), Ms. Liana Yesayan (Executive director of “Eurasia” CPO), Mr. Hovhannes Avetisyan (Deputy Governor of Lori region) who also made speeches.

During the first “Communication techniques as the best cornerstone for integration and consolidation" training, local self-governmental bodies and residents of Vahagni, Debet, Dsegh communities of Lori region, RA acquired theoretical, as well as practical skills on the principles of effective communication, conflict / crisis situations and their management, decision making.

The training was conducted by the invited trainer from the Republic of Moldova, Ana Cerneva, the Executive director of the "LEADER" national network of the Republic of Moldova.

The aim of the first training was to promote effective communication skills among the participants and enable them to easily integrate into the environment.

Let’s note that the trainings will be continuous, after which each community will present a project for their community development, which will be financed by “Eurasia” CPO.

The Project on “Strengthening local self-governmental leadership towards participatory governance in rural regions of RA” is being implemented by “Eurasia” CPO with the support of Solidarity Fund PL.

The project is funded by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs within the framework of Poland's development cooperation programme.
