The final stage of the selection process for the participants of the project “Fostering Participatory Rural Governance (RA): Cross-Border Perspective through V4 Experience Exchange” was held (Lori region)

On April 17, 2025, within the framework of the project “Fostering Participatory Rural Governance (RA): Cross-Border Perspective through V4 Experience Exchange” the final stage of the selection process for administrative heads of Lori Region was held, based on previously submitted participation applications.

Approximately 60 administrative heads from Lori Region had submitted applications to participate.

The selection of participants was conducted by Mher Khechumyan, Head of the Department of Territorial Administration and Local Self-Government Affairs of the Lori Regional Administration and Liana Yesayan, General Director of “Eurasia” CPO.

The project is being implemented with the financial support of International Visegrad Fund and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

The project “Fostering Participatory Rural Governance (RA): Cross-Border Perspective through V4 Experience Exchange” aims to strengthen democratic processes and promote community engagement in Armenia’s rural areas by enhancing the capacity of administrative heads from Lori and Tavush regions. The project will draw on the best practices and expertise of V4 partner countries (Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia) in participatory governance.
