“Eurasia” CPO in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Armenia will install the first 70 kW Solar Photovoltaic Power Station in Azatan village, Shirak Province.

The first Solar Photovoltaic Station with a capacity of 70 kW will be constructed in Azatan village of Shirak province. It will be built as a result of joint cooperation between “Eurasia” CPO and the Embassy of Japan in Armenia

The project funding will be provided by the Embassy of Japan in Armenia within the framework of Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects. The co-financing of the project will cost up to $ 100,000 USD and the construction works are expected to be completed within six months.

The Solar Station will annually produce about 100,000 kWh of electricity and will reduce more than 50,000 kg of carbon emissions to environment, improving not only the environmental situation of the area and adjacent settlements, but also the socio-economic condition of the community residents as well.

The Signing Ceremony of  “The project for Installation of 70 kW Solar Photovoltaic Power System in Azatan” will be held in Azatan Village of Shirak Province on July 31th, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

The ceremony  will be attended by Mr. Jun Yamada (Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of  Japan to the Republic of Armenia,) Mr. Nver Torosyan (President of “Eurasia“ CPO ), Mr. Vardan Ikilikyan  (Head of Azatan Community), Mr. Karen Sarukanyan (Governor of Shirak Province) and other officials, local people and etc.
