On May 12–14, 2025, the official launch of the project titled “Fostering Participatory Rural Governance(RA). Cross-Border Perspective through V4 experience exchange” was held organized by "Eurasia" CPO.

The project aims to contribute to the capacity building of administrative leaders in the Lori and Tavush regions of Armenia through the application of a participatory governance models, thereby strengthening democratic processes in selected communities.

During the three-day workshop, leading experts from Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia shared best practices from their respective countries, presenting new opportunities for collaboration and practical solutions that can be applied in Armenian rural communities.

The project provided practical skills and tools to the administrative leaders of Lori and Tavush regions to ensure more effective community engagement in their municipalities.

Welcoming remarks were delivered by Marcin Różycki, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Poland, Yerevan; Liana Yesayan, CEO of the “Eurasia” organization; Nver Torosyan, President of the “Eurasia” organization; Aleksi Borovka ( Instytut Nowej Europy, Poland); Šárka Šoup (Institut pro politiku a společnost, Czech Republic); Jan Cingel (Strategic Analysis Think Tank, Slovakia); as well as Aghabek Galstyan and Mher Khechumyan, Heads of the Departments of Territorial Administration and Local Self-Government of the Lori and Tavush Regional Administrations of the Republic of Armenia.

The project is funded by the International Visegrad Fund and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, aiming to promote citizen participation in the decision-making processes at local level.
