Within the framework of “Strengthening local self-governmental leadership towards participatory governance in rural regions of RA” project Dsegh Community presented “Tumanayan’s features in the light” community development project. Ahead of Hovhannes Tumanyan's 150th anniversary in Dsegh two-faced sculptures of Tumanyan heroes were installed in the village square: Gikor, Anush, Sutlik Vorskan, Karnat aghjik, Loretsi Sako, etc. Sculptures are very expressive during the daytime, but when it gets dark, they get lost in the dark and are almost invisible. The Tumanyan breath disappears. Within the framework of this project, it is planned to install LED lights on the pedestal of the sculptures of Tumanian heroes, which will lighten the sculptures and the surrounding areas in the dark times. As a result of regular monitoring, the representatives of “Eurasia” CPO and Solidarity Fund PL got acquainted with how the project implementation works are progressing.
